Eco-friendly bus operator, The Big Lemon in Brighton, has recently become part of the Album family and at an exciting time too, as they prepare to launch the first solar powered bus!
The two new electric buses will be charged up overnight from the solar energy captured from panels on their depot roof and will operate on their route 52 to Woodingdean.
The Big Lemon, who recently appointed Norman Baker MP as their Managing Director, run their other buses on cooking oil and in the last year, 112 tonnes of fat fuel 16 buses and coaches for nearly 220,000 miles!
