Nottingham City Transport (NCT) is taking its success on the road with a special Celebration Bus, marking the remarkable achievement of being named UK Bus Operator of the Year for a record-breaking sixth time.
In Early February, NCT held its annual Excellence Awards, celebrating the exceptional contributions of its colleagues. The event was especially significant as it not only honoured the hard work and dedication of NCT employees but also recognised the collective effort that contributed to the incredible achievement of winning UK Bus Operator of the Year. This prestigious recognition was awarded to NCT at the UK Bus Awards, which took place in November 2024, reinforcing the company’s status as a leader in the public transport sector.
To celebrate these successes, the Celebration Bus features employees from across NCT – from Drivers and Engineers to Management, Cleaners, Support Staff and Customer Service Teams – showcasing the people behind NCT’s success. The bus, specially designed to mark this achievement, will travel across various routes throughout Nottingham, bringing the celebration to the streets and showcasing the hard work and dedication of all our employees who make NCT what it is today.

The Celebration Bus will be out on various routes across Nottingham from Monday 3rd March, giving passengers the chance to join in the celebration. Keep an eye out for the bus as it makes its way through the city, proudly marking the significant milestone.
