JMB Travel is strengthening its commitment to passengers by enhancing its X1 service, which has been back in operation since January. These latest improvements are designed to boost reliability and capacity for customers travelling along this key route.
ALBUM member and ALBUM Commercial and Operations Forum organiser Ian Bieniowski has been providing commercial expertise to JMB Travel and has been heavily involved in the X1 service comeback and improvements. Since launching the X1 route, JMB Travel have released the following improvements:
- Day Ticket Bundles: Now available for purchase via the MyTrip app, making travel more flexible and cost-effective.
- Extra Services During Rail Disruptions: Ensuring passengers have a dependable alternative when train services are affected.
- New, Larger Bus Launching in March: To meet growing demand, JMB will introduce a larger vehicle on the route, providing extra capacity on busy journeys.
