Looking forward to seeing many, many huge smiles in the run-up to Christmas is Santa – as he briefly swaps his sleigh for a bus.
Now an annual tradition, Santa will be driving buses on the network of routes around the town during Reading Buses unique ‘Festive Fortnight’ raising money for their charity of the year Sport in Mind.
He said: “I am really looking forward to travelling on the various routes and bringing some Christmas joy to travellers. I don’t have a set route so I will be all around the town hoping to see all the good little boys and girls.”
If you spot Santa and it raises a smile, the company is asking that you text SIM 2 to 70085 to donate £2 to Sport in Mind.
Santa will be on board from tomorrow Saturday December 11 up to and including December 24. Reading Buses say he then has to go back to his real job for Christmas Day!
