Good news for students at Farnborough Technical College and Farnborough Sixth Form College.

Thames Valley Buses are extending their no. 194 service from September specifically to meet the students’ transport needs.

Thames Valley Buses have been running the 194 between Bracknell, Crowthorne, Sandhurst and Camberley service for the last six years.

As a result of requests from students along the route, they are extending one service in the morning and two-afternoon journeys to and from Farnborough via Frimley and Farnborough College.

Said Simon Fisher, Thames Valley Buses Manager: “We are delighted to be able to assist the students along the route of the 194 as we can see that there is no easy way to make this journey at the moment.

“Tickets will be available to students from the Thames Valley Buses website and app at our normal network zone prices, allowing travel on the 194 at any time of day as well to and from the college – perfect for trips out at the weekend.

“The extended service will run Monday to Friday throughout the year for the benefit of commuters as well.

“And the extension of the 194 will coincide with the introduction of upgraded buses with a smart new red colour scheme,” Simon added.
