BUS INDUSTRY CHALLENGE FOR DONGYING

Experienced payroll manager Dongying Zhou is looking forward to the challenge of working in the bus sector for the first time.

Dongying, who has spent six years in payroll, has been appointed as group payroll manager for Reading Buses and their sister companies Newbury & District and Thames Valley.

Her payroll responsibilities within the group’s payroll team extend to between 600-700 employees including the processing of overtime and bonuses for drivers, engineers, cleaners, and of course the company’s ‘star of the month’ scheme.,

Dongying’s appointment in the finance department at Reading Buses Great Knollys Street depot is a career promotion. Her previous payroll experience has been with a private hospital group and a nationwide waste management group.

Amidst all of the challenges of the post Covid world, ensuring that all our employees are paid correctly and on time is a vital role. I’m sure that Dongying has many successful years ahead of her in her new job,” said Chief Executive Officer Robert Williams.

Dongying is 33 and lives in Wokingham.
