ALBUM Operators have had another successful year at the UK Bus Awards, scooping up a total of 15 Awards!
The Seven Gold, Three Silver and Five Bronze awards were announced at the glittering ceremony hosted at Troxy on Tuesday 20th November, where ALBUM operators picked up the Top Independent Operator and City Operator Awards.
Ensign Bus, Lothian Buses, Nottingham City Transport, Reading Buses, Scarlet Band Bus & Coach, trentbarton, Unobus and Warrington’s Own Buses won awards in 10 different categories, demonstrating the success of the independent bus sector across the country.
The Awards won are:
- Bus Operator of the Year – Nottingham City Transport (Silver) and Ensignbus (Bronze)
- City Operator of the Year – Nottingham City Transport (Gold)
- Environment Award – Nottingham City Transport (Gold) and Lothian Buses (Bronze)
- Independent Operator of the Year – Ensignbus (Gold) and Scarlet Band Bus & Coach (Bronze)
- Innovation in Road Safety – Reading Buses (Silver)
- Leadership & Innovation Award – Uno Bus (Gold)
- Marketing Initiative of the Year – Uno Bus (Gold) and Warrington’s Own Buses (Silver)
- New Horizons Award – Lothian Buses (Bronze)
- Shire Operator of the Year – Reading Buses (Silver)
- Top National Driver – Nottingham City Transport (Gold) and trentbarton (Bronze)
