Yellow Coaches wins trip to Cranborne

May 31, 2022

Yellow Coaches specialises in coaching and contracts and is the sister business of the iconic Yellow Buses which operates local buses across Bournemouth and Christchurch.

As of Monday 6th June, Yellow Coaches will be operating the school bus to and from Cranborne Middle School. Yellow Coaches have been successful in winning this arrangement tendered by the school. The school bus has been operating for a number of years and the students already travelling should not see much difference to their journey, apart from travelling on a yellow vehicle.

New students wishing to use the service should contact the school office and details of the service will be found on the Yellow Coaches and Yellow Buses websites.

Simon Newport, Commercial Director for Yellow Coaches and Yellow Buses said, “This is fantastic news for Yellow Coaches. We would like to thank Cranborne Middle School for choosing us to provide their service.”

Jason Cousins, Coaching and Contracts Manager for Yellow Coaches said, “We are really pleased to be working with Cranborne Middle School. This business continues to gain work all over the local area.

We can provide buses and coaches on contracts and coaches on private hire, just give us a call on 01202 636019.”

Richard Stevens, Head Teacher at Cranborne Middle School said, “We would like to thank the previous supplier of the service and now we look forward to working with Yellow Coaches to provide our school bus service. The timings remain unchanged and the students just need to look out for a Yellow Bus or coach.”

Simon Newport continued, “Yellow Coaches, alongside Yellow Buses provide contracts and services all over the local region. We run contracts for BCP Council, Dorset Council, Hampshire County Council and Wiltshire County Council alongside many private arrangements with schools and colleges.”

Simon Newport said, “This year we celebrate 120 years of being in business, and we continue to grow. The pandemic hit us hard, but we are continuing to build the business to give security for our 350 staff and families.”
