Good news today for residents of a Reading suburb.
From November 1 there will be more Buzz 42 buses between Kenavon Drive and the town centre.
From Monday to Friday during off-peak there will be two journeys on the contracted service from Kenavon Drive to town each hour with one of these continuing to Rivermead.
Off-peak journeys to Rivermead will become hourly.
There will be no changes to the morning peak before 8.30 am nor to the evening peak after 5.00 pm.
Saturdays will see two journeys each hour from Kenavon Drive to town with one of these continuing to Rivermead.
Throughout the day on a Saturday all journeys to Rivermead become hourly.
Travellers will notice one visible difference – all journeys on the Reading Borough Council contracted service will be numbered 42. There will no longer be a 42a.
